The celebration should not be limited to today, but every day. Plus, do not forget all the cognitive and health benefits of writing by hand. 🙂

  1. It is more of a States thing, since yesterday was John Hancock's birthday, whose signature was so clear and flamboyant on the Declaration of Independence. I think handwriting should be emphasized, given that it involves coordination of cognitive and motor skills. Good exercise for the brain and hand!

  2. I could not celebrate it, I was stuck on an airport all day 😦 But I also read that January is Handwriting Month, so I have time to make up for it! (and then February is Lettermo, yay, busy times 🙂

  3. I am sorry to hear that. One of my fear has always been stranded in an airport or station all day, that is probably why I always have a notebook and fountain pen with me, so I can kill time.
You did not miss the fun at all, since everyday should be handwriting appreciation day 🙂
